Whether it’s Children’s Church, Vacation Bible School, or Sunday School, children are taught the Bible through practical Bible lessons, object lessons, songs, and Bible memorization.
Grace Baptist Temple cares about our children and has a desire to teach them of a loving God and a wonderful Savior who died to redeem us from our sin. Week after week we are thrilled to see young boys and girls accept Christ as their personal Savior.
Nursery Care (0-2 years)
We welcome you and your child to this ministry of our church. Our nursery is for infants and toddlers up to 2 years of age. We join with you in a vitally important task: the nurturing of your child’s development. Our goal is to provide your child with the physical care and spiritual training that will build within him the right concept about the church, God, and Jesus. Our prayer is for each child to grow up in a Christian home, and for each of us to exhibit understanding and cooperation as we work together for the good of your child.
We offer childcare for infants through two years of age in a secure facility staffed by caring, qualified nursery workers. All our childcare workers receive a background check before working in our Childcare department. Click Here to download Nursery Check-In Procedures.
Children’s Bible Classes
We join with you in a vitally important task: the nurturing of your child’s spiritual development. Our goal is to provide your child with the physical care and spiritual training that will build within him the right concept about the church, God, and Jesus. This is accomplished through our Sunday Bible classes.
Our prayer is for each child to grow up in a Christian home, and for each of us to exhibit understanding and cooperation as we work together for the good of your child.
Children’s Church
Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Every Sunday morning, K4-5 grades come together for an exciting time of singing, object lessons, skits, and Bible lessons. Bible characters come to life through practical Bible lessons. Children are taught Bible principles like respect, obedience, and learn about God’s love and Christ’s wonderful gift of salvation.
It is thrilling to see young children accept Christ as their personal Savior week after week.
Patch the Pirate Clubs (K4-5th grade)
Ship Ahoy mates! Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime? Well get on board the good ship “Jolly Roger” as we set sail through God’s Word. Patch Clubs meet each Wednesday at 7pm. Patch the Pirate Club is for grades 3-5 and Pee Wee Club is for grades K5-3.
A powerful participation factor encourages each club member to get involved. Children and parents enjoy this unique program of positive, rewarding experiences, and gets straight to the heart of your children. Below are listed some of the components that make the Patch program so successful.

Vacation Bible School
We have been working very hard in preparation for Vacation Bible School this year and it is going to be a great event! Our theme this year is “THE KUNG FU KID”. Chow Mein has always wanted to be a great Kung Fu Warrior but Master Tofu will guide the young Kung Fu Kid to becoming a great Kung Fu Master who learns the secret of the art, KINDNESS, from the greatest Master, Jesus Christ.
It is not too late to register! Call the Church Office or just show up at 615pm Wednesday evening to register before the services begin. Ages are K4-5th grades. There will be skits, music, activities, crafts, Bible lessons on kindness, snacks, and HUGE GIVEAWAYS EVERY NIGHT!
